Research Area:

Sustainable Economic Development, International Economics, Islamic Finance

Research Experience:

Starting from early stage of my PhD, way back in 2003, my research journey officially started. With sustainable economic development has been at the center of my research, I started my research by looking at the role of international trade and foreign direct investment on economic development in ASEAN countries. As time evolved, currently I also enlarge the coverage of my research to also include some pillars under sustainable development goals (SDGs) and Islamic finance. Until today, I have more than 50 publications in SCOPUS as well as ISI journals, and more than 20 in non-citation journals as well as chapters in book. I have presented in more than 50 international conferences.
